Our philosophy
Affectionate Alien Intelligence exists to put an extraordinary technology to work on ordinary lives. Not enterprise workflows — the everyday problems real people have. One assistant at a time, each one on your side.
We collect the least we can, and we never sell it, rent it or share it. Not with advertisers, not with anyone. What our assistants learn about you can live in your own space — OwnPlate keeps yours in your own Google Drive, where we cannot reach it.
You can see everything we know about you, written in plain words, and correct it or delete it. A note you can read is the opposite of a profile kept about you.
No sleeping subscriptions. You find the value first, and we earn your trust before we ask for anything. If you stop using an assistant, it stops charging you. If we are not right for you, we will not be a burden.
Alien technology, for ordinary humans — in places privileged and not. Our assistants are built around community: real people connecting, and able to sponsor and support each other, so that help reaches those who need it and not only those who can pay for it.
We share how we are doing — the failures with the successes — and we take your feedback straight into the product. What you tell us today can be in your hands tomorrow. That is how something gets better at meeting human needs.
